About the Photographer

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Christina Hasel, I am a graduate student earning a Masters of Science in Art Education with a photography concentration. As an under-graduate  I studied art. I have a B.A. with  a focus in both photography and printmaking.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as far back as I can remember. I have always been in love with the idea of freezing moments in time. No matter where I am living, or what I am doing, I am constantly inspired to shoot.

I just completed the first chapter in a series that I have spent the last few years working towards. This series is a documentary and focuses on the rural north-east of the United States. Eventually I would like to expand this project,  covering rural regions throughout the country.
